A panel has determined that Charles Schwab acted in bad faith when it filed a cybersquatting claim, specifically in regards to the domain schwabfinancialcare .com.

The domain belongs to Simon Schwab and is used for lending services. The panel found that Charles Schwab failed to demonstrate that Simon Schwab had no legitimate rights or interests in the domain, and had registered and used it maliciously. Panelists David Sorkin offered a dissenting opinion, but the other two panelists found evidence of reverse domain name hijacking due to Charles Schwab's lack of honesty and transparency in its complaint. This included falsely claiming that the domain was inactive and misrepresenting the identity of the domain owner.
