Title: Help me choosing US webhosting
Post by: Efremof on Jul 18, 2022, 02:40 AM
Hello! I am looking for a dependable and established hosting service in the United States, complete with servers located within the country and 24/7 customer support. I have spent the past two days scouring various reviews and advice online, but unfortunately, most of what I found was either outdated, unhelpful, or insufficient.

From what I've gathered, hostgator.com and webhostingbuzz.com are both reputable and reasonably priced hosts, while crocweb.com is an affordable option, although their servers are based in Canada. Have you had any experience with these providers, or could you recommend others that you have personally vetted?

I have utilized both Dreamhost.com and Ipower.com and found them to be highly satisfactory in all aspects. The control panels are user-friendly, reliability is excellent, and customer support is efficient.
Despite my frequent queries due to managing multiple websites, I have never experienced any issues obtaining quick responses and helpful solutions from their technical support team. I have been using these services for approximately seven years now.

Hi there! Among the hosting companies that you mentioned, I have experience with hostgator and webhostingbuzz. With regard to hostgator, I can attest that it has been working exceptionally well for me for over 5 years. Their technical support team is particularly impressive in addressing any issues that arise. In the past 3 years, there were two instances where my site went down (due to their errors), but they resolved everything in just two hours.

I have also utilized the services of webhostingbuzz. While their selection is slightly more expansive and unique, their prices are somewhat higher. Unfortunately, their technical support is not as good. There is no operator available online (even though they claim there is - it takes quite a while to connect and not always successfully), but the team is still able to resolve issues promptly.

This is not a ranking of web hosting companies, but rather a list of the best ones in the USA that are worthy of your attention:

1) InterServer.net - founded in 1999

2) Liquidweb.com - established in 1997

3) Inmotionhosting.com - established in 2003

4) TMDHosting.com - launched in 2007 and provides hosting services in the USA, Europe, Singapore, and Japan

5) One.com - operating since 2002, offers hosting services in the USA and Sweden

6) A2Hosting.com - established in 2003, offers American and European hosting services.

7) Bluehost.com - established in 2002

8) Godaddy.com - operating since 1999 and holds more than 60% of the American hosting market

9) Siteground.com - founded in 2004

10) Netfirms.com - established in 1998

The demand for American web hosting is increasing due to the USA's attractiveness for businesses operating online, given the country's economic prosperity and high solvency among its citizens. Moreover, American hosting companies strive to meet the nation's high standards for services. However, with so many companies offering various perks to attract potential clients, selecting the best one can be challenging.

I need a reliable, proven US hosting (with servers in the US, 24/7 support, etc.). Over the past two days, I have read a lot of all sorts of reviews and tips, but they are either not new, or not informative, or just not very good.
Generally, I have read that hostgator.com and webhostingbuzz.com are both good and not very expensive hosts. Good and budget like crocweb.com, but they have servers in Canada.
What do you think? Have you tried above hosting providers or can you recommend others that you have checked.

If your question is still relevant, I advise you to pay attention to companies that provide hosting with protection against DDOS attacks. They have more reliable equipment, the best communication channels, inexpensive and unlimited tariffs, there are no difficulties in working with foreign visitors.

Hi. In the modern digital world, the most relevant is the provision of protection against DDoS attacks 24/7. Learn first of all on this. Most offer built-in protection, but sometimes you need an emergency connection with a live operator.

Suggestions to help you find a reliable hosting service in the United States.

1. Research Customer Reviews: Look for recent and detailed reviews from customers who have used the hosting services you mentioned or any other provider you are considering. Websites like Trustpilot, HostAdvice, and WebHostingTalk can give you insights into the experiences of real users.

2. Check Server Location: If having servers located within the United States is important to you, verify the physical server location before selecting a provider. This information is typically available on the hosting company's website.

3. Evaluate Customer Support: Look for hosting providers that offer 24/7 customer support through various channels like live chat, phone, and email. Visit their websites or contact their support teams directly to inquire about their response times and the quality of their assistance.

4. Consider Uptime Guarantees: Look for providers that offer a high uptime guarantee, ideally 99.9% or higher. This ensures that your website will be available to visitors most of the time.

5. Seek Recommendations: Ask for recommendations from friends, colleagues, or online communities specializing in web development or related fields. Their personal experiences can provide valuable insights and recommendations.

There are several reputable hosting providers based in the United States. Some popular options include:

1. Bluehost: Bluehost is one of the largest hosting providers and is recommended by WordPress.org. They offer a range of plans and have 24/7 customer support.

2. SiteGround: SiteGround is known for its excellent customer support and reliable hosting services. They offer data center locations in Chicago, Iowa, and Oregon.

3. HostGator: HostGator is a well-established hosting provider with a wide range of hosting plans. They have servers located in Texas and provide 24/7 customer support.

4. DreamHost: DreamHost is known for its solid uptime and customer support. They have data centers in Virginia and Oregon and offer a range of hosting options.

5. InMotion Hosting: InMotion Hosting offers a variety of hosting solutions with data centers located in Los Angeles and Virginia. They have good customer support and provide free website migration services.

In a world where uptime is king, relying on outdated reviews is a rookie mistake. HostGator may have been a go-to in the past, but their service has become increasingly mediocre. WebHostingBuzz's support can be frustrating, leaving you in the lurch when you need help. For serious projects, consider premium hosts like Liquid Web or Kinsta, which offer stellar performance and support.
