Title: Advise a good webhosting with DDos protection
Post by: AliceFowell89 on Jul 15, 2022, 03:07 AM
Hello!

To people on the forum who have used a trustworthy hosting service with DDos protection, could you please share your experiences? Another crucial aspect is prompt and helpful customer support, and ideally a moneyback guarantee.

I appreciate any valuable recommendations!

I have not experienced DDoS attacks yet, but I am aware of a hosting provider that has exceptional technical support: freehost. They respond quickly and not only answer questions about hosting details, but also offer advice beyond their responsibility. For instance, they have reinstalled my improperly installed WP and transferred sites between accounts on my behalf.

Additionally, when I had difficulty with OpenCart, they provided links to relevant topics in profile forums. Although, in my opinion, the internal configuration of the site is not related to hosting at all.

Overall, I am satisfied with freehost, although I cannot compare it to any other provider as I have exclusively used them since 2016.

Offerhost is a UK-based provider that has been offering virtual hosting and domain registration services since 2016. They use ISPmanager as their web hosting control panel, and protection against DDoS attacks is available on all tariffs at the click of a button. Once activated, the traffic will be filtered, making the website more secure.
Additional benefits include free SSL certificates, web site migration within 24 hours, unlimited traffic, data backup, and automatic installation of popular CMS.

Fornex is a European provider with over a decade of experience and large clients such as Pikabu, Vibum, and LetyShops. Their services include web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and administration, among others. They offer protection against DDoS attacks for both their own clients and third-party hosting companies, with the option to choose between standard and advanced filtering. Dedicated server owners in Germany can get free protection against DDoS attacks up to 10 Gbit/s.
Other features of Fornex web hosting include free SSL certificate, web site migration, unlimited traffic (not on all tariffs), and servers located in six countries worldwide. A 7-day test period is also available.
