Title: Share your webhosting experience
Post by: Bukvarix on Jul 10, 2022, 04:07 AM
I want to share my hosting experience and hear from you about your thoughts on this topic. My story began in 2018 when I decided to upgrade from free hosting and move to a paid service. I spent a lot of time researching different options, searching for the right balance between quality and cost.

I asked my friends and even strangers on the internet for their opinions. One morning, while listening to the beautiful singing of birds outside my window, I finally found the best option for me.
I clicked on a link (http://************.com/) and haven't looked back since. Now, after 4 years, I continue to use FatCow for my hosting needs.

I stumbled upon a paid hosting service by chance and quickly signed up for a year without testing it first. Unfortunately, the hosting did not meet my expectations. I now have to wait until the end of my paid period to transfer my site to another host. In the meantime, I've learned my lesson and am more careful when selecting hosting for my other sites.
I still have many projects on free hosting, and I fear that transferring them to paid hosting may cause problems.

Your story is like a whole novel about finding reliable hosting. In fact, finding a good, but inexpensive hosting is not so difficult. After all, many companies offer to use the tariff designer and include only those services that are really needed in their tariff. In addition, there are promotions and discounts for account replenishment, for example, for a year in advance.

Hello. I also think that everything is not so difficult, you can easily find a suitable hosting service and price. And no need to worry about data storage.

Here is a list of podcast hosting services with their pros and cons:

PodBean:
Pros: Beautiful personal account, convenient statistics, free basic rate, monetary support from listeners, and auto-upload to social media.
Cons: Limited storage and inability to use your own domain name on the free tariff.

Libsyn:
Pros: Reliable, responsive support, quick adaption to new technologies, its own app for Android and IOS.
Cons: Limited storage, lack of advanced statistics on the two lower tariffs, and an outdated design.

Despite the unimpressive appearance of the website, Libsyn has an application that integrates with WordPress and allows cross-hosting on social networks using the OnPublish tool. There are also video tutorials, FAQs, and technical support available. For extra money, a private email address can be purchased for personalized feedback.

SimpleCast:
Pros: Great design, Recast function for cross-hosting, ability to manage a podcast with multiple people, a website with its own domain.
Cons: Limited number of downloads and limited statistics on the basic tariff.

Simplecast has been around for over six years and provides services to podcasts of popular brands such as Nike, Facebook, and Twitter. If you want to fully develop your podcast website and gain detailed statistics, then Simplecast could be a good option. The basic tariff costs $15, and there is a trial period of 14 days to start.
