Title: What is best way to implement customer feedback from Google to my site?
Post by: metallexportprom on Jun 25, 2022, 03:06 AM
Hello everyone, I'm feeling a bit tired. Is there an easy way to display customer reviews from my GMB account on the homepage of my website?
I'm not familiar with programming, so I need a straightforward solution. I would like a clickable feed that shows all the review elements, including the star rating. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Did you consider using plugins? It's difficult to suggest any specific ones not knowing which CMS you're using. However, you could test out this one (https://elfsight.com/google-reviews-widget/) and see if it matches all your requirements. Moreover, if your website is based on WordPress, there are numerous plugins available in the WordPress store for you to choose from.

In my opinion, the easiest way to add reviews to your site is to install a third-party widget there (for example: https://elfsight.com/).
All you need is to create a widget on the developer's site, customize its design and save the result. Then copy the widget code you just modified and embed it on the website.
In general, it can be just your future (blank) page with reviews - so even a person with the most general knowledge of HTML can add such code  ::).

Considering your request for a straightforward solution without requiring programming knowledge, I recommend using a user-friendly widget provided by Google specifically for displaying Google My Business reviews on websites.

You can easily embed a review widget from your GMB account onto your website's homepage. Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Access your Google My Business account and navigate to the "Reviews" section.

2. Look for the option to "Share your business reviews" or "Get more reviews" within your GMB dashboard. Google may provide an option to create a short name URL for your reviews.

3. Once you have the URL or widget code, you can go to your website's CMS (Content Management System) and add a new HTML or custom code element.

4. Paste the URL or widget code into the HTML element and save the changes.

By following these steps, you should be able to display a clickable feed of customer reviews, including star ratings, on your website's homepage. This will allow visitors to see authentic feedback about your business directly from your GMB profile.
