Title: Scammed out of Crypto from BoxMode .io
Post by: Ankan on Jan 28, 2023, 03:40 AM
My friend fell victim to a large sum of digital currency fraud yesterday, largely due to his lack of tech knowledge. Fortunately, he was able to snap a photo of the website, allowing me to track down the domain BoxMode . io .
Upon further investigation, it seems that the domain is registered on PanaName.com from Panama. Any suggestions for tools that could offer insight into ownership details?

It's possible that the owner of BoxMode Inc. is not responsible for the scam your friend fell victim to. It might be worth checking if the scammer used a subdomain.

When dealing with online fraud or scams, it's important to gather as much information as possible to avoid further damage. Checking for subdomains could potentially reveal the true culprit behind the fraudulent activity. Additionally, it's crucial to report any instances of fraud to the appropriate authorities to prevent others from falling victim to the same scheme.

If you want to obtain ownership details of a domain registered on PanaName.com, there are a few tools you can use for investigation. Here are a couple of suggestions:

1. WHOIS Lookup: You can perform a WHOIS lookup using various online WHOIS services such as ICANN WHOIS or WHOIS.net. These tools provide registration details like the domain owner's name, email address, and contact information.

2. Domain Tools: Websites like DomainTools.com offer comprehensive domain research and investigative tools. They provide domain ownership history, registration details, and other relevant information that can help you determine the legitimacy of a domain.
