Title: Choosing a right VPS for hosting a forum ...
Post by: Gaiter on Jun 17, 2025, 10:46 AM
VPS accounts from hostround.com (https://www.hostround.com/vps-hosting) and legionbox.com (https://legionbox.com/virtual-servers/) are enticing for me and I wonder which way is better to follow?

I'm currently in the process of launching a niche tech forum and have narrowed down my VPS options to hostround.com and legionbox.com.
Performance and uptime are obviously key, but I'm also looking for responsive support and good scalability as the community grows.

Has anyone here hosted a forum on either of these providers long-term?

Really appreciate any insights from your real-world experience!

Out of all the VPS providers, hostpro.com caught my attention due to its solid technical setup — you can choose from several control panels and server locations to suit your needs. Having managed servers with 24/7 support makes things much easier, especially for those who don't want to deal with everything manually. If a problem arises, their team is available around the clock to help resolve it promptly. The fact that backups are performed daily is a big advantage during system changes or updates. Thanks to NVMe SSD storage, performance remains stable even when handling high loads.
