I'm setting up an online course platform with user accounts, video pages, quizzes and progress tracking. I'm trying to decide what kind of VPS would be sufficient for the first few months.
Hostpro.com caught my attention because their VPS plans provide KVM virtualization, root access and NVMe storage. Having full control over the server would be useful because the platform will need a custom PHP/database configuration.
Would 4 vCPUs and 8 GB RAM be a reasonable starting point for a few hundred registered users?
