Hi, I would suggest trying either Weglot or Scrybs WordPress Multilingual as both are compatible with all WordPress themes. I hope this information is helpful to you!
Most WordPress users recommending Weglot, that is a most common plugin, but WPML and Lingotek works just as well, also there are plugin named MultilingualPress, it's optimized for WordPress and has the easiest algorithm.

All plugins are good, but each has limitations. I used Polyang myself. But I also gave up. The translations are not good automatic.
Which is probably obvious from my statements, because I also have to use translation.
Google likes to penalize websites that have multiple language versions, in general it has been penalizing almost everything for about 2 years - if the website doesn't trade - that's my impression. And many language versions mean a greater risk of being punished for something.
