Title: Hosting with SSL Certificate
Post by: vickey80 on Jul 28, 2024, 12:15 AM
Which hosting I should pick (with a ssl certifikate) for my website?

It's quite affordable and it important that it has an ssl certifikate from the start.

You might want to look into shared hosting if your site is new or doesn't necessitate too many resources. Providers like Bluehost, HostGator, or SiteGround commonly offer great packages that not only come with an SSL certificate but also provide excellent customer support.

Bluehost is particularly popular among beginners because they offer a free SSL included in all their plans. Their pricing is reasonable, and they've got a user-friendly interface that makes setting up your website simpler, even for those without much technical knowledge.

HostGator, on the other hand, is an another budget-friendly option, providing SSL certificates for free on their shared hosting plans. Their performance is pretty decent, and they also offer a 45-day money-back guarantee if things don't go as planned.

SiteGround is also worth a mention, but it's slightly more pricier than the previous two options. However, they are renowned for their superb customer service and high performance. Plus, their SSL setup is automated, which is a plus for those who are not too tech-savvy.

Next, look for providers who offer a clear, easy-to-understand pricing structure. You don't want to get caught up in hidden fees that can pop up after your initial subscription. Many of these companies will often entice you with low introductory rates, but it's important to check what the renewal rates look like.

Also make sure that these hosting providers offer a one-click installation for SSL certificates. This feature can save you a ton of time and headache.

Go for Bluehost or HostGator if you're looking for something affordable with a free SSL certifikate included. If you expect to grow and possibly require more resources later, SiteGround is great too, especially if you can manage the higher price. Remember to read user reviews and maybe even contact their support to see how they respond before making the final decision.

Most hosting providers usually offer a free SSL certificate through Let's Encrypt, and it can be set up via the control panel in just few minutes.

If you don't have specific needs and plan to host a standard website, I suggest checking out three options: sprinthost, hostland, and beget. I have been with sprinthost the longest, for about 8 year, but the others are also well-established in the industry and have a solid reputation.

Most of them provide a test period of a month, and the reliability as well as customer support is generally quite good. Remember, it's essential to choose a provider that fits your specific requirements, especially if you're planning to scale up in the future!

Godaddy is fantastic option for hosting! You get a no-cost SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt, which is super handy. Plus, they use NVMe SSD drives that are really fast. And don't forget they support DNSSec and the http/2 protocols, which are essensial for modern websites.
