I'm just a beginner webmaster, my project has not yet grown to the size I need, free hosting - FreeHosting is exactly what I need. Think for yourself, if you have one site, why pay? There are only pluses here: CMS and available technologies, Single control panel, Automatic backup. And all this is available with a simple registration.
Free hosting is suitable for frivolous or temporary sites - sales, announcements, blogs. At the same time, it will need to be advertised, since search engines evaluate serious sites hosted on free hostings to a lesser extent, and rarely raise them high in search results.
I agree, if your project has not yet grown to the right level and you do not want to pay for hosting, then free hosting is the very thing. But when your project grows, have you ever thought about which hosting to choose?
There are of course free hostings normal. I myself used free hosting at the beginning of my work. But they have limited possibilities. So it is better to use paid hosting services.

I do not think that free hosting is suitable even for blogs - except perhaps with unobtrusive advertising or lack thereof. Not a single serious blogger will place his blog on such a hosting, except perhaps a beginner, so to speak, to "test the pen." I, having the experience of hosting a site on such a hosting, will add that this is unacceptable for the vast majority of sites. :-\
I would like to start my own website, however, I am still looking for a good hosting that will give me ample storage space where I can comfortably store all my content.
For serious work, you need to look for serious hosting. Free except for beginners, that's my opinion.
I think that free hosting can only be suitable for beginners, for more serious work, creating a web site, blogging and other projects, you need to look for something more powerful with a good amount of data being stored.
The idea of hosting a website for free on the Internet is tempting. There are companies that offer free hosting for different types of websites. But if everything was so wonderful, then no one would pay hosters for paid placement.
Hello. I have a question. We are representatives of a new company in the field of sales of bed linen. We would like to create a website for ourselves, with a beautiful visual, payment by card. Which domain name should we choose? Can it be free if there are 300,000 users online? If it is paid, how will we have to pay? Once when buying or on an ongoing basis until we use it?
I heard that when registering a hosting, you can get a domain for a year as a gift, but I have never heard of free hosting. Is it really possible to place one or several sites on hosting without a monthly fee? I would like to understand this issue in more detail.

Try Infinity Free (https://www.infinityfree.net/) to get started. There is everything for the launch and successful operation of a small site on well-known CMS. In addition to php, mySQL, and everything you need, they will also provide free SSL. The choice of SSL is from several providers.
This problem of free hosting is slow site loading speed due to the fact that many free clients are located on the servers. The resources of each of them are limited. Also many free hosting services cannot provide their users with a high level of protection.
I just started developing websites and I have a question which hosting is better to choose? I am making a site with ordering clothes and I need a good and high-quality server, for good work and not to be broken by every second DDos attack, what would you advise me to choose? I want to use a free service for verification, and as soon as I make a full-fledged site, I'm going to switch to a paid one
Hello. A really good question. I am also interested in the cost of a domain for the same amount. Perhaps there is a trial period or a reduced payment for the first months?

Julia, do you like the domain julia45.ml, or julia45.ga, for example?
Take away. ;)
Follow freenom.com, register there, and register for yourself the domain of respected African states.
Is free. For 3, 6, or 12 months.
For a good person nothing is a pity. :)

In the concept of free hosting, there is no catch. This is a real service of hosting companies, providing a place to host or create a website. This service includes minimum standard hosting parameters and/or significant restrictions in site management. What are free hosting services, their features and use cases in this article.
When hosting a website for free, remember that it is free. Surely somewhere in the offer it will be written that the service is not responsible for anything and can erase, copy, assign or resell your data at any time.
Looking for free hosting, it is important to remember that such tariffs do not have stability in operation and there are certain restrictions. Therefore, this option is more suitable for the test and with low workload. And for the full launch of your project, you already need to select a paid hosting. It will work more stable, faster and safer.

You can find free services by simply googling and clicking on the first link. From myself I can advise hostinger.com.
HyperHost.ua offers free hosting and a VPS/VDS server but has vague requirements for eligibility, including having a website related to interesting and useful topics with at least 100 daily visitors and being immune to DDoS attacks.
You must apply through a special feedback form, but it's uncertain whether you will be granted free hosting. This is likely a marketing move to attract clients, and it's not suitable for inexperienced webmasters. Beget.com provides well-known free hosting with built-in control panel and adequate limits, but they send intrusive emails and require a phone number. Oxnull.net used to offer free hosting but has since closed, highlighting the risks of relying on free hosting.
Paid webhosting is recommended for critical projects as they close less frequently and give advance notice if they do.
Free hosting can really be suitable only for novice webmasters who are testing themselves in development. As mentioned above, such hosting is moving worse in browsers, the site may work slowly. For large projects, there may simply not be enough space and functionality - you will have to buy it separately. There is also a high probability of losing a domain name or positions in the search. I think it's better not to save money on hosting, and choose the most suitable option from the available paid hosting for your project, focusing on reviews.
Free hosting is only suitable for testing. Of course, there are a lot of free hosts, but they are all weak and not suitable for serious tasks. Remember that this is just my opinion.
We can say that if you are a small business or an entrepreneur and you cannot afford to spend a lot of money on web hosting, then you should go for free web hosting. Plus, with a reliable free hosting provider, you can upgrade to premium hosting when the demand for your website grows.
Free hosting often comes with limitations on resources such as disk space, bandwidth, and server capabilities. This can restrict the amount of content, media, and traffic that the website can handle, potentially hindering its performance as it grows. As a web developer, I aim to ensure that the websites I work on provide a seamless and optimal user experience, and these limitations can pose challenges in achieving that goal.
Furthermore, free hosting providers may impose advertisements on the hosted websites as a way to monetize their services. While this may be understandable from their perspective, it can detract from the professionalism and branding of the website. As a web developer, maintaining the integrity and user experience of the site is crucial, and the presence of third-party ads can undermine these efforts.
In terms of technical support and security, free hosting services may not offer the same level of assistance and protection as paid hosting providers. This can leave the website vulnerable to security threats, downtime, and technical issues that may require significant time and effort to address. As a developer, I prioritize the stability and security of the websites I work on, and this potential lack of support from the hosting provider is a concern.
Considering the long-term perspective, scalability is another critical factor to consider. While free hosting may suffice for a small-scale, low-traffic website at the outset, as the project grows, the limitations and constraints of free hosting become more apparent. This can lead to the need to migrate the website to a paid hosting solution, which can be a complex and disruptive process, potentially impacting the site's functionality and user experience.
I urge beginner webmasters to carefully weigh the benefits and drawbacks of free hosting like FreeHosting. While it may provide an initial cost-effective solution, the potential impact on performance, user experience, security, and scalability should not be overlooked. Investing in a reliable and feature-rich paid hosting solution from the start can set the stage for the project's sustainable growth and success.
