Title: Looking for a VPS after outgrowing shared hosting
Post by: SaraF on Oct 26, 2026, 11:48 AM
My WooCommerce store has around 4,000 products, and I'm starting to run into resource limits on my current shared hosting plan. Product imports take longer than they used to, and the admin panel sometimes becomes sluggish.

I'm looking for a VPS with 4 vCPUs, 8 GB RAM and NVMe storage, with a budget of around $30–35 per month.

I came across hostpro.com while comparing providers and am considering their VPS options.

Would this configuration be enough for a store of this size, or would 16 GB RAM be a safer choice if I want to avoid another upgrade soon?

Try VPS deals from decent hosting providers, I mean scalahosting.com (https://www.scalahosting.com/cloud-vps-hosting.html) and operavps.com (https://operavps.com/vps-server/linux/).
Easy to use and functional.
Great customer support.
Years in business and trustworthy.
Affordable prices.

Having gone through several providers over the years, I've been with hostpro.com (https://hostpro.com/) for my own VPS needs and the speed has been consistently good. What genuinely sets them apart for me is the daily backup of all services - it's saved me after a failed update and would cover data damage or a hacking incident too. Their technical support is excellent, qualified, and available 24/7 with no charge for any question you throw at them.

Independent customer reviews can be useful when comparing providers.
Detailed feedback about technical support and problem resolution is often more valuable than simple star ratings.
