Title: Looking for hosting with unlimited disk
Post by: Henri O`neill on Dec 01, 2022, 06:08 AM
Greetings and salutations, everyone! Our next topic concerns a project aimed at developing a video hosting platform similar to YouTube, but with drastically larger file sizes of 15-30 GB. Although the total number of files will be limited to 5.7 TB initially, there is potential to expand up to 10 TB. Unfortunately, the hosting service we currently utilize has a one-year window for unlimited file storage, but the files cannot exceed 5 GB individually.

Does anyone have knowledge of a hosting provider that offers unlimited storage or at least 10 TB, where we could store these large files? Thank you in advance for any recommendations!

I've always been very happy with Hosting022.com Serbia hosting (https://hosting022.com/shared-hosting/) - they are quick and friendly and will help you until there is a solution. They provide a very cost-effective solution for any websites, provide MySQL and PHP support, and as far as I have experienced have a good record on uptime and accessibility.

Do not create fake hopes even in your imagination.
If you want something decent -  get a VPS server. I recommend checking kvchosting.net, qhoster.com. They they are TOP providers I know.

Deals from libertyvps.net and hostsailor.com are worth every cent you pay for their services.
So far I'm very pleased with them. I have never encountered any problems and customer support has always been very helpful whenever I call. I would highly recommend to anyone!

If you're looking for hosting providers with unlimited storage or at least 10 TB, there are a few options you can consider:

1. Amazon S3: Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) offers scalable storage options with no limit on the amount of data you can store. However, you will have to pay for the storage space you use.

2. Google Cloud Storage: Google Cloud Storage provides highly scalable object storage with no limit on storage capacity. Similar to Amazon S3, you'll need to pay for the storage you utilize.

3. Microsoft Azure Blob Storage: Microsoft Azure Blob Storage is another option that offers unlimited storage capacity. You will also be charged based on the amount of storage you consume.

These three providers are well-known in the industry and should be able to handle large file sizes and offer the storage capacity you require. It's worth comparing their pricing plans, availability in your region, and any other specific requirements you may have before making a decision.

few more hosting providers that you can consider for storing large files:

1. Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage: Backblaze B2 offers cloud storage with affordable pricing and no limit on storage capacity. They have a simple pricing structure based on the amount of data stored and transferred.

2. Wasabi: Wasabi is a cloud storage provider that offers unlimited storage capacity at a low cost. They provide high-speed, durable storage with no additional fees for egress or API requests.

3. IBM Cloud Object Storage: IBM Cloud Object Storage offers scalable storage with no limit on capacity. They have versatile storage options and allow you to choose from various performance tiers to match your specific needs.

4. Box: Box is a cloud content management and file sharing platform that provides unlimited storage capacity. It offers secure storage solutions and collaboration features for businesses.

If you're serious about launching a competitive video hosting platform, settling for inadequate storage solutions is a recipe for failure. Why not look into dedicated servers or even building your own infrastructure? Cloud providers like DigitalOcean or Linode can offer more flexibility, albeit with a steeper learning curve. Don't let outdated hosting models dictate your project's potential.
