Title: What is the most attractive domain for europe?
Post by: feneso4648 on Aug 02, 2022, 11:41 AM
Choosing the right domain for my furniture-selling website is proving to be a challenge. While .com is the most common choice, it can also be quite costly. Can you suggest any other viable options?

My experience tells me that it is best to take .som. But the new domain name will look better, EU. The trend is that EU should be used. Everyone wants to use it.

Best of all, of course, the .eu domain
They are generally inexpensive. The problem is that it will be difficult to find the name you are interested in. Many names are taken.
Or they are very expensive.

Another issue is that in some countries the consumer is more loyal to their national domains. But there is also a problem with the employment of names.
You will have to come up with something, although you probably have a company name, and such a name may not be taken.
Suppose you are called GFcompany, you want to sell accessories in Spain, then everything looks very good:

Register several domains at once, put redirects or aliases on the main one. Don't guess.

And the icing on the cake. Take away. :)

You should get up not so much a question in the domain zone (.com .org, etc.), but in the name of the site. Through GoDaddy, you can find a suitable and more or less affordable, but I think it will be far from furniture .com (eu /org). First, choose a name for the domain, which will not cost much and the Internet visitor will immediately be able to understand where he went, and after that, select the domain zone.

As far as I know, in order to register a domain in the .eu zone, you need to have EU citizenship.
If you have it, then take the .eu domain. If not, you can register in any zone, but preferably in .com

If you're looking for an alternative to .com, there are several other viable domain options you can consider for your furniture-selling website. Here are a few suggestions:

1. .co: This is a popular choice and can be a good alternative to .com. It is often used by startups and companies that want a more unique domain extension.

2. .net: Although not as commonly used as .com, it is still recognized and can be a suitable option for your website.

3. .furniture: This domain extension is specific to the furniture industry, which can make it easier for potential customers to identify your website's purpose.

4. .store: If your primary goal is selling furniture online, a .store domain might be a good fit. It conveys that your website is an online store.

5. .shop: Similar to .store, .shop can also help emphasize your website's purpose as an online shopping destination.

Remember, the domain name should represent your brand and be easy for customers to remember and type.
