My websites previously held high positions in search engines and generated significant traffic, but they were offline for a couple of months and dropped out of the index. The rental links that helped maintain their position also disappeared. It's uncertain whether it's possible to recover the traffic under these circumstances or if starting from scratch is necessary. Besides restoring website availability and recovering lost links, what other actions can be taken?

 If anyone has experience with recovering from a long-term website drop, please share your process and outcomes briefly.
